Changes are applied straight away and are saved to your PC, so you can adjust everything until it feels right for you. HUD Layout
At the top of the menu, you can control the general HUD appearance.

You can also use Show every element while editing to make all HUD elements visible, which makes positioning everything much easier.
If you mess something up, use Reset to restore the default layout.
The Minimap section controls where and how your minimap is displayed.

The Inside Map option makes the radar larger and places the street name and postal information over the edges of the minimap.

The circular minimap is experimental and may require the correct radar mask to work properly.
The speedometer can also be customised. You can change:
This is useful if the default position clashes with your minimap or other HUD elements.
Under General, you can adjust the overall HUD Scale.
Move the slider left or right to make the interface smaller or larger.
This is especially useful if you play on a different resolution or want more screen space.
The Minimap Frame section gives you much more control over the exact placement of the map. You can adjust:
If you are trying to line the frame up perfectly with the radar, enable Show Frame Outline.
This displays the frame boundaries so you can see exactly what you are moving or resizing.
Once everything is lined up, you can turn the outline back off.
The UI Settings menu also lets you reposition certain CAD-related overlays.

These elements can be moved directly on your screen using their handles.
For example, the Radio Speakers handle marks the bottom edge of the speaker list, with active speakers stacking above it.
All changes apply immediately and are saved locally to your PC.
