Changing xMenu Appearance & Navigation

You can customise how xMenu looks and behaves through the M / F1 Menu.

Go to:

M / F1 Menu > Misc Settings > Interface Options

From here, you can change the menu theme and navigation behaviour.

Context Menu Theme

Open:

Context Menu Theme

Available styles include:

  • Original
  • xMenu
  • xMenu Compact
  • xMenu Compact No Icons

Choose whichever layout you find easiest to use.

Compact Options

The compact themes reduce the amount of space used by the menu.

xMenu Compact No Icons removes the icons as well, creating an even smaller and cleaner layout.

Navigation Options

Go to:

M / F1 Menu > Misc Settings > Interface Options > Navigation Options

Available options include:

Reopen Last xMenu Location

When enabled, xMenu will reopen at the menu or submenu you were using when you last closed it.

This can save time if you frequently use the same section.

Save Last Highlight

When enabled, xMenu remembers the last option you had highlighted.

Keyboard Control

Use the keyboard control option to change how you navigate xMenu.

This lets you choose between keyboard-based navigation and the normal menu controls.

Quick Guide

1. Open the M / F1 Menu

2. Go to Misc Settings > Interface Options

3. Select Context Menu Theme to change how xMenu looks

4. Select Navigation Options to change how the menu behaves

5. Configure the options to suit how you prefer to use xMenu
