  2. Get your rank once accepted. Ranks follow the department's Discord roles.
  3. Clock in in game. Time on the department's own jobs counts toward its standings.
  4. Specialise with a division such as K9 or CID while staying in your department.

Sub departments

Start a department of your own

Officers ranked sergeant or above in a main department can propose an area-based sub department such as Paleto Bay or Vinewood. Each department holds its own fund.

Public: the founder pays the greater of 3,500 or 175 credits per member for the first 30 days, then the greater of 3,000 or 175 per member every 30 days.

Handpicked: the founder pays the greater of 5,000 or 300 credits per member for the first 30 days, then the greater of 4,000 or 300 per member every 30 days. 300 dues per member count toward the renewal.

Tactical team package: 3,000 credits one time, from spendable department funds after the next renewal is reserved.
