Selecting Your Character & Choosing a Spawn Location

When you first load into the server, you’ll be taken to the Characters screen. From here, you can either select one of your existing characters or create a brand-new one. Selecting an existing character Your existing characters are shown on the left-hand side of the screen. Each character displays their:

• Name
• Character type/role
• Date of birth

Simply select the character you want to play as to continue.

At the bottom of the screen, you can also see the current Area of Play, along with how many Police, EMS and Civilian players are currently active.

Once you select your character, you’ll be taken to the Spawn screen.

Creating a new character

If you want to create someone new, select + New Character.

You’ll then be asked to enter the character’s basic details, including:

• First name
• Surname
• Date of birth
• Sex
• Character type/role, such as Civilian, Law Enforcement or Lawyer

Complete the character setup and continue to reach the spawn selection screen.

Choosing where to spawn

After selecting or creating your character, you’ll see the Spawn menu. You can choose Last Location to return to where your character was previously, or select one of the available spawn locations.

These can include locations such as:

• Los Santos International Airport
• Legion Square
• Diamond Casino
• Vinewood
• Mirror Park
• Sandy Shores Airport
• Sandy Shores
• Harmony
• Grapeseed
• Paleto Bay

Some locations may be grouped by role i.e. Civilian locations at the top followed by Police locations and then the Fire Department locations.

Select the location you want, then press Spawn at the bottom of the screen. Your character will then load into the server at that location.
