Racing
In this update, we are prioritizing the racing community. Along with a completely new racing system, allowing for player created competitions, we have added the ability to customize your vehicle with custom vehicle parts and modkits. We have removed the ability to add vehicle upgrades via xMenu.
We have added tiers to vehicle parts, ranging from tier D to tier X with Tier X being the most advanced. Higher-tiered parts give acceleration, braking & handling improvements. Use toolkits to modify vehicle parts. We are introducing racing parts to the black market, allowing you to obtain illegal modifications while staying off the radar.
We have added fuel grades allowing for a higher performance boost, ranging from 1% to 5% depending on the octane.
You will gain mastery points when performing racing manoeuvres, off roading and maintaining high speeds. We have added vehicle harnesses that you from falling out of your vehicle. Harnesses must be manually unclipped before exiting a vehicle using your lock keybind.
The dashboard has received some QOL updates, showing your MPG and estimated range. Driving more economically will dramatically extend your range, ditch the cops quickly with a burst of power or play the long game to try to outlast cops.
Props Overhaul
We have completely overhauled xProps, adding a new category based browser, with a refreshed UI. There are now multiple prop gizmos to choose from.
Over 2000 props are purchasable from release with up to 5000 more coming over the next few months.
Crypto
No criminal empire is complete without an untraceable means of payment. We are excited to introduce Crypto this season. The following currencies will be available on launch
Xercoin
Used for purchasing items on the black market. Obtained by mining.
Dubcoin
Used for purchasing server upgrades, enhancing security and launching offensives against other players or state infrastructure. Obtained through heists, jobs and robberies.
Slipstream
Used for purchasing car upgrades, Obtained by racing and chains.
Servers
We are excited to introduce Servers in Season 4. Servers give players a chance to dive into the digital criminal underworld, from both the LEO and Civilian side.
Players can set up their own secure IRC chat rooms within the game, hosted on their own infrastructure. You can use this to escape the watch of law enforcement and grow your criminal empire.
Players can mine for Xercoin using servers. Make sure to secure your servers to make them more resilient to attacks from other players!
The backbone of First Responder infrastructure is a collection of “Mainframes”. These are physical servers, located in MRPD, RXPD, PBPD, SSPD & Senora PD. w Compromising these terminals, either remotely or in person, will allow you to take control of core services such as unit tracking, cad lookups, RTO & forensic analysis. Mainframes run protected operating systems that make them harder to breach and automatically restore damaged services over time to ensure critical infrastructure returns to normal operation as soon as possible.
Civilians are able to use Kali Linux to attack all servers, from player-owned servers to mainframes. There isn't any support for learning this; you will have to dive into it for yourself to learn. Be warned, CID is armed with the tools to defend and react to cyber threats.
Phone Remake
We are proud to release a ground up remake of the in game phone, bringing seamless integrations with all aspects of the gameplay experience.
With fully remade Phone, Messages, Banking, Crypto, Twooter, Camera, Housing, Photos, Music and Citizen apps, all custom made with a unique feel.
CAD
A wave of performance improvements and bug fixes have been implemented across the CAD system to ensure a smoother experience for dispatchers and officers alike.
Tones and alerts help you stay informed of actions dispatch is taking without needing to open CAD.
Roxwood County
Beyond the streets of Blaine County, a massive new landmass awaits exploration. Roxwood County joins BCRP this season, offering a seamless map expansion that draws inspiration from the lush, diverse landscapes of Central and Northern California.
This expansion provides a fresh canvas for both high-speed pursuits and quiet civilian life.
